HIM and HER (2)

Silent tears, down her cheek, roll
Terrified eyes, to catch him, stroll
To touch, her fingers ,stretch so far,
His rhythm, that could envy a star.

For over a year, he’d held her up, so close,
At his gaze her world still froze,
But, slaves they became, in shackles, to time
Their passion for the other, no longer, sublime.

Her fear, she held, in her heart, masked
Away from him, impossible to be tracked,
His presence, she thought, was her elixir
His kiss, she missed, in desperate fear.

Filled is the path of life with surprises,
Sometimes new but mostly the good old crisis,
Each time we start, a new path, to truce,
The old disembark and the new start to cruise.
